Juicing Recipes

When the beginner Juicer starts designing and preparing their own juices there are a couple of points they should bear in mind. In this piece I will discuss what to think about when preparing recipes for juicing.

There is one important thing you must know before you begin juicing. And that is you must have the right tools for the job. You need to use a juicer and not a blender. These are two very different tools, and if you use a blender you are cheating yourself of many of the health benefits that juicing offers. A juicer separates the juice from pulp. You can place the entire produce inside a juicer including the peels, skins etc. If you use a blender you will not get the same quality of juice from your produce.

When you begin juicing there is one guiding principle that you should bear in mind and that is that you need to let yourself be creative. The idea with juicing is to create delicious healthy juicing recipes that you will enjoy. Remember a strong tasting fruit juice can mask the taste of healthy but less appealing vegetables. One fruit I recommend for this is lemons. Also strawberries and oranges work well.

As long as the produce has been cut into manageable pieces your juicer will be able to handle it, however you want to be careful with oranges and grapefruits as the rind should be remove first. Retain the pith however as this is where most of the nutrients are. Don’t juice bananas they will clog your juicer.

For the beginner juicer it is important not to worry about making mistakes with your juice recipes. Experiment and find out what works for you. Use two or free different types of produce and then expand from there. Click on the link if you want to learn more about tips, recipes and juicing benefits.
